Last night, I decided to try the various category modules that I downloaded following the taxonomy talk. Somehow, between the cat, the kids and their homework - attempting to relate Henry the freeking 8th with Homer Simpson - I thought it was the right time to install one of the more promising modules. It hoped it will give people the opportunity to write their own taxonomies in relation to posts, and it had a little bar "thing" that seemed to show related terms.. That was a "DUH!!" idea. One of these things one prepares, then hit the "OK" button, and as soon as the finger is off - you know this isn't going to make you very happy... After all the promise, the module ensured the forum could not exist with it on the same site..

Therefore, I managed to spend most of the early hours attempting to correct that mistake.
I think everything is, overall, back to how it was... I had to moved topics about.. They all should be where they were, but if you find something that's out of place - this is not intentional.. (Please let me know if you do..)

2 things are very visibly different.
* The forums. I couldn't find the forum descriptions, and used none. Looking at it, I think they actualy look better because people dont have to scroll down the page to discover which topics there are.. However, if the descriptions are REALLY missing - I can try to recover them from where-ever they might be..
* The "Who's who" link now points to a list of all site members. I could do it as an A2Z list - but it widens the page in a slight nusty way..

If anyone has other taxonomy ideas, let me know. I tried a few of the modules - and they aren't working very well. It seems that taxonomy database tables are pretty hard wired in this system.. But maybe there are other applications we could try to weld with this one..
