One can argue that an artworld is defined by its ecomonics. That the way in which art projects/works/objects/endeavours get funded, defines both the process and the very understanding/definition of art.
This is a position that I hope we could further explore in the future. However, with the thinking of possible ambilical connection between funding and artworlds, I would like to point the following ways of funding which might prove artistically richly rewarding:

Following a quick chat with Scott about these, I think it could indeed very interesting to explore ways such as these, and others - e.g. get google through to british arts council funding - an turn the very process of being funded into the *what* of being funded..
